Cheating in Plaid and Mustard

(Ha, for the 20 of you who read this because I don't know what day it is and published it early, here it is, back again!)

I re-set this post to publish on Thursday night, since I'll be out at Book Club after my WW meeting.
I'm taking Friday off and going off-line for the weekend - I'll be back on Monday with tales of adventure!

  • Cardigan - no label, thrifted; purchased here for $6.95 on the weekend
  • Sleeveless sweater - Gap, thrifted; last worn here (3rd outfit) in October 2017 for the big Vintage fair
  • Skirt - Nygard, thrifted; last seen here in January 2017 with stars for a hug from Canada
  • Shoes - Half-Truth Tanya, Fluevog; last worn here in November 2017 with metallic flounces
  • Coat (below) - Danier; last seen here last week

I actually wore my hair down on Thursday to work, and did the cardigan up.
I'm totally cheating - I'm wearing this out for dinner tonight (Wednesday) and then wearing this tomorrow to work. Sneaky!

I should have steamed the cardigan before taking pics, but no time!
I'm quite fond of this fabulous plaid skirt - it has an excellent Swoosh Factor with all those pleats at the bottom.

Outerwear - my bowler is sitting funny because of the clip in my hair. My head is really not that big.
"You forgot to add Cat to your outfit."
Sorry, Vizzini, I should always accessorize with Cat.

  • Bowler - Roberta's Hats
  • Scarf - Smoking Lily
  • Wool gloves - Parkhurst

The stuff:
Easy shoes for walking to town and running around at work on Thursday (and to my WW meeting, and to Book Club!).

Green and gold bling:
Nothing too fancy. Just green.

  • Bracelet - Lia Sofia, thrifted
  • Ring - consignment
  • Earrings - Stella & Dot, consignment, Vancouver

Back on Monday - have a great weekend!

  1. That skirt certainly has the swoosh factory and I love the colours of the plaid. And as I love a bit of green, I totally approved of your shoes and accessories. Have a marvellous weekend away from it all! xxx

  2. This is such a lovely outfit, the cardigan, skirt and shoes match perfectly and your coat is gorgeous, I’ve always fancied a red leather coat. I don’t iron anything, I hang my clothes on hangers straight from the washing machine. Body heat soon irons out any creases! :-) Hope you had a good weekend.

    1. Aw, thank you, Polly! I love my red leather coat - I strongly advise you to get one! :) We'll match! I hate ironing, but I adore my steamer - it's faster and easier than ironing!

  4. Hahaha I love that photo with the bowler! Are you sure you don't have a monster head? The skirt is right up my street too honey and I get it about not having time to steam your cardi - sometimes life is more important!

  5. My Husband was so smooth at hiding his infidelity so I had no proof for months, I was referred to some hacker  and decided to give him a try.. the result was incredible because all my cheating husband's text messages, whatsapp, facebook and even phone conversations was linked directly to my cellphone. (worldcyberhackers@gmail.com ) Mr James helped me put a round-the-clock monitoring on him and I got concrete evidence and gave it to my lawyer..if your husband is an expert at hiding his cheating adventures contact Mr James via Email
