The Partridge Family Bus Dress

Well, after that (to me) disastrous outfit yesterday, there is no better palate-cleanser than a dress.
Especially one that is this awesome!

  • Dress - Tangerine Jill, consignment; last worn here in March with trout shoes
  • Shoes - Van Eli, thrifted; last seen here (3rd outfit) in July with a fabulous vintage skirt

While I call this my "stained glass dress", my coworkers call it other things.
My Mondrian dress (after the artist Piet Mondrian, Wiki link here).

The best was today - Jamie called it the "Partridge Family bus dress".
1973 called. It wants its bus back.

The stuff:
The slightly mod vibe of these block-heeled sandals probably contributed to the overall 70s vibe of this outfit.

Simple bling:
Nothing too overwhelming.

  • Leather obi - thrifted
  • Cuff - Bauxo
  • Earrings - local
  • Fulvia Ring - Wendy Brandes

What would you call this dress? I mean, besides FABULOUS?!

  4. No, it's definitely a stained glass dress, Sheila and it looks fab on you. I love the obi and the sandals - they go so well with the dress.

  6. Call it what you like, I love, love, love it. I know I say this periodically, but put my name down for this one, eh?
