Aug 13th - Outfit #14 - Lock & Load

The week I get a tattoo is always entertaining: all my outfits need to work to hold gravity at bay.
Wrangle those girls!
A "fresh" item for this month is this olive jacket. It's by Bianca Nygard Weekend, and I thrifted it in June 2011 (first worn here, 2nd outfit) for $9.50. I haven't worn it much - the last and only other time was here in September 2011 when I was trying to avoid jury duty.

I like all the studs on it.

This is the same purple dress I wore here on Saturday.
It has a nice swingy skirt. The sandals were last worn here.

I'm linking up to Visible Monday over at Patti's "Not Dead Yet Style" - get over there and check out the awesome bloggers! (I'm posting my tattoo picture - that's about as visible as I can get!)

Jacket (Bianca Nygard Weekend, thrifted), dress (Lady Dutch, consignment), shoes (Coach), bangle (Matt & Nat, thrifted).

  1. Speaking of entertaining, I love your jury duty story! Thanks also for showing us your tattoo yesterday, gorgeous highlights and shadows. All the best with the healing process - and the wrangling!

  2. Great jacket. Nothing beats a good army green jacket with studs. Hope the 'new' tat is healing up nicely.

    1. I'm starting to slather it with lotion - it will start peeling off soon. Eeee...itchy...

  4. Really like the olive jacket with the purple dress! I was just wondering to myself if I could wear a purple bag and olive jeans - just given me the push I need to do so :)

  5. I'm not a fan of tatoos on anyone, but I have to say that really is quite a spectular one of the gecko. And with the shadows making it look 3-D, it really is something else.
