Pink, Posh and Polka Dots

Hola, my friends! It's the Spirit of Christmas Bling here, bringing you some powerful pink pops!
In case you wondered (Curtise), dressing up one's everyday clothes at this time of year isn't a "thing" that I'm aware of, but I like doing it. It's a good excuse to be extra-bling-y (not that I need an excuse!).

  • Jacket - Precis Petite, consignment; last seen here in January with my Mansfields and cerulean
  • Skirt - Evan Davies, thrifted, vintage 80s; last seen here in August with grey sequins (see what I mean about not needing an excuse for bling?)
  • Shoes - Poetic Licence; last worn here (2nd outfit) with a mushroom hat

I'm not 100% in love with this jacket - it can't be worn open due to the slanted closure and bigass collar, and meh, it's black with a micro polka dot (a good thing).

I'm getting used to this shape of shoe on me - I like how they look in the "stair pose."
Such a wondrous pink skirt! It's a glorious colour.

The stuff:
My first wearing of these shoes for work - they've only been worn the one time (link above) for a special event. They were very comfy, and stood up well, even for several blocks of walking today.

Vintage bling:
I love vintage stretchy belts like this one - I see them all over the thrift stores. And isn't that the most sparkly pink crystal necklace and earrings? I adore them.

  • Belt - vintage, vintage fair
  • Necklace/earrings - Sherman, vintage 60s, vintage fair
Not blinged out for the season? Tempted?

  1. Love the pinks! And the shoes - fabulous. I have a pair of PL but they're not at all comfy on me - must try again. xox

  2. I really like the shoes! They are a little different from some that you would usually wear but they look really great! I also like the jacket, but I can understand feeling "meh" about it if you can't wear it anyway but buttoned up.

  4. I like how the shoes and the jacket complement each other… and that pink crystal vintage necklace and earring set is quite dashing.
